SHADOW OF THE SPARK has sold over 200 copies! 

233 as I type up this blog. This is a fairly huge deal for me because statistically, the average self-published author sells 250 copies of their book in the first two years of their novel or in the life of the novel, depending on the source of the statistic. This is just one of those things I read on Google, so take that with a grain of salt. But the idea that I made it to 200 copies in its first eight months of sales is stellar. Thank you so very much to each and every one of you who has picked up a copy. You’re the reason I do what I do when I do what I do.

And now, a writing update!

You’ll be happy to hear (I think) that the train is chugging right along with the outlining process. Just earlier today, I was going through my plans for each character’s storylines, establishing what they each want versus what they each need, and then understanding what the theme of the novel is based on all that information. I’m still in the process of finalizing this outline, but that should get done by New Year’s Eve at the latest so that I can dive into writing chapters on the first of the year.

I don’t know about you, but that’s pretty exciting to me!
